Yesterday I tried the „camera“ mode of the Wikitude Android app. It looks very cool: You see the picture from your camera and it is automatically enriched with links of places nearby. As you turn the phone, the links which are „out of sight“ leave the display and others get in sight. It did not correctly recognize the full turn (maybe that’s better when outside – or are the shock sensors in the Galaxy not that great?) but still, it looks like a neat feature.
It’s similar to a business idea I had two years ago…
