Glaciers are key icons of climate change and global environmental change. However, the relationships among gender, science, and glaciers – particularly related to epistemological questions about the production of glaciological knowledge – remain understudied. This paper thus proposes a feminist glaciology framework with four key components: 1) knowledge producers; (2) gendered science and knowledge; (3) systems of scientific domination; and (4) alternative representations of glaciers. Merging feminist postcolonial science studies and feminist political ecology, the feminist glaciology framework generates robust analysis of gender, power, and epistemologies in dynamic social-ecological systems, thereby leading to more just and equitable science and human-ice interactions.

TM1 development has undergone a subtle evolution over the years.

As a relatively early adopter (I still refer to TM1 as an Applix product occasionally, and I remember the original version of TM1Web) of the technology, I’ve watched this evolution with interest, and feel what I have been doing with Flow, is an attempt to bring that evolution full circle and get back to those early glory days.

No IPv6 :( Well, I had IPv6 until the next restart (which I just figured out). wilhelm.tel doesn’t support IPv6 on their cable network hardware. It works (apparently) but is reset on reboot. A shame.

Yay, we have native IPv6 connectivity now! I just called the service line of my provider. While I was on the phone the agent said „Yes, I am sure to activ…“ buzz buzz buzz – line was cut when she changed the setting.
